Our holiday apartment "Dunhill"

Living in turn-of-the-century flair. The newly renovated holiday flat offers guests complete comfort and cosy corners to relax in. You will never tire of the view from the veranda.

Why "Dunhill"? Some hundred years ago Sir Herbert Dunhill, brother and associate of Alfred Dunhill who founded the renommated tobacco company bearing his name, used to spend his summers in this very place. For him the first water closets with running water in the area were installed.

The flat has approx. 60 square metres, a small balcony, a fully equipped kitchen and two televisions. The hotel's own sauna can be used on request and the restaurant is also available (except during the period when the hotel is closed).

2 - 4 pax

Pets are welcome. We apply a cleaning fee of 20€.

There is no church in this town!

There is no church in Santa Valburga. Well: there really is a church but it's hidden on a little hill outside the town. An old place of worship people whisper to each other. But a community can't live without a vibrant lively centre... So one was found, in the XIII century, right in the middle of the Ultimo Valley.

or should we say Eggwirt inn is the heart of the community ...

The EGGWIRT is the most ancient inn of the region: it has welcomed travellers for more than six hundred years with hospitality and every comfort.
The name comes from "ECK" which is the German word used for the narrow bend in the middle of the town which the comfortable inn has always dominated. It is really this which invites the tired traveller to stop and investigate the sweet smells which come from the house to invite him in.

Wait... What is that delicious smell of food in the air?!
